If you want to get rid of an old mattress, now’s the time to do so . . . if you’re in County Donegal.
The council is having a ‘mattress amnesty’ under which mattresses can be disposed of free of charge at recycling centres.
Mattress disposal days will take place in Stranorlar and Laghey on Saturday, September 8th, Carndonagh and Milford on September 15th, and Dungloe on September 22nd.
