Parish Priest of Knock says people won’t have to walk long distances for Pope visit



Almost 50,000 people are expected to flock to Knock Shrine on Sunday to see Pope Francis.

There will be road closures and diversions in place throughout the weekend.

People are being urged to plan their journeys carefully and to use buses or carpool.

The Parish Priest of Knock, Fr Richard Gibbons says there won’t be any long distances to walk and everything should be straight forward…..
