The Irish Natura and Hill Farmers Association is welcoming the timely announcement of another fodder support payment for farmers.
It’s the second such support announced for the sector this year.
Minister Michael Creed approved over €4.2m for the fodder support scheme yesterday.
It will be administered through the Co-ops and through approved hauliers.
Colm O’Donnell, a farmer from Aclare in county Sligo is the National President for the INHFA.
He says this announcement is timely:
