Post office campaigners in the North West say the government’s Ireland 2040 Plan was nothing more than a ‘smoke-screen’ to divert attention from the closure of rural services.
It follows a major rally against the planned closure of around 21 branches in the North West which took place in Sligo town on Saturday.
