Sligo’s Caradh O’Donovan speaks out on impact of ‘invisible disabilities’ like Crohn’s



A Sligo Karate Olympic hopeful says there is still alot of work to be done to highlight the impact of ‘invisible disabilities’.

Caradh O’Donovan from Sligo Town has spoken openly about how living with Crohn’s disease has impacted her career as an athlete.

This week she’s taking part in a national campaign to have toilet signs put up in transport hubs like airports and bus stations to increase awareness.

She’s hoping the signs will be used at hubs in the North West.
