Leitrim’s Breege Connolly returns home on Monday afternoon with the rest of the Irish team managed by Donegal’s Teresa McDaid, after she finished 31st in the marathon event at the European Championships in Berlin yesterday.
The Kinlough native was part of the Irish women’s team that finished eighth overall.
