It’s being claimed that Letterkenny University Hospital is facing an overcrowding crisis this winter.
The hospital was the most overcrowded in the country on Monday, while it was a similar situation last Thursday.
Calls are now being made for a 19-bed short stay ward to be open immediatley.
Deputy Charlie McConalogue says the ward is ready to go, but the government just need to make funding available.
