Rob Rogers has been appointed as the man in charge of Sligo Rovers’ trip to Shamrock Rovers on Friday.
Rogers was the fourth official to referee Neil Doyle the last time the sides met in Tallaght – a controversial 1-0 win for the home side back in April.
Rovers’ assistant boss Kevin Deery was sent-off on that occasion.
Incidentally Deery will have to watch this weekend’s game from the stands as well, as he serves a one-game touchline ban.
Meanwhile, Raymond Matthews has been appointed to take charge of Finn Harps’ long journey to St Colman’s Park to take on Cobh Ramblers in the First Division on Saturday.
