Now . . . it’s the ‘Styled Atlantic Way’



A Sligo business is helping promote the county throughout the country — at the same time as promoting itself.

And it’s doing it through a series of 15 County Sligo scenes mounted on large billboards at locations throughout Ireland.

The promotion is by EJ Menswear, which has created a name for itself for its innovative promotional activity, and particularly its use of social media.

Part of its efforts have included photo shoots of young men wearing its suits at various scenic locations in County Sligo.

But it says recent photos taken were so spectacular that it decided to share them nationally on 15 large billboards across Ireland under the slogan ‘The Styled Atlantic Way.’

In a two-week period, they were viewed more than 3.5 million times online.

The campaign is supported by Sligo Business Improvement District and four local hotels: The Sligo Park, the Sligo Radisson Blu, The Glasshouse and the Great Southern, all of whom are offering prizes in a competition for people who take photos of the billboards and post them to the EJ Menswear Facebook page, naming the location.
