Travellers at Glenview Halting Site in Sligo claim they were given no notice of Council work beginning



A traveller family who live at the Glenview Halting Site in Sligo have said they were given no prior warning that work at the site was beginning today.

Refurbishment work being carried out by Sligo County Council at the Ash Lane site got underway today.

The council are to build five new social housing units, while they also plan to build six new bays for caravans.
