Fine Gael Senator Frank Feighan has asked the party that he be added as a third candidate for the party in the Sligo/Leitrim constituency in the next general election.
The party held its selection convention for the constituency last week.
Fine Gael is to go with a two candidate strategy, and Sligo Cllr Sinead MaGuire and former TD Gerry Reynolds, from Leitrim, were selected.
But Senator Frank Feighan says he wants to be added now as a third candidate….
