The bathing ban at Mullaghmore Beach has been lifted.
The ban was implemented following a routine water sample taken on the 16th of July that showed the water quality was not at an acceptable level.
A follow up sample was taken on the 19h of July that showed the water has now returned to excellent quality.
Sligo County Council say they will continue to monitor the water at all locations in the county.
