Former TD Gerry Reynolds and Sligo Cllr Sinead Maguire have been selected as the candidates to contest the next General Election for Fine Gael in the Sligo Leitrim constituency.
Almost 1000 people turned out in the Clayton Hotel in Sligo last night.
Gerry Reynolds topped the poll, while Sinead MaGuire was a close second. John Perry was a strong contender for some time but transfers did not work in his favour. The final tally was Gerry Reynolds 295, Sinead Maguire 285 and John Perry 222.
