Promoting the Five Glens Wild Atlantic Loop around Manorhamilton

A local community in north Leitrim is now rolling out a new initiative aimed at highlighting the tourism attractions in its area.

It involves the erection of large tourism promotion signs at various locations promoting what it calls the Five Glens Wild Atlantic Loop.

Funding for the initiative was obtained from the Town and Village Enhancement Scheme.

The signs, designed by Mark Mulholland, will be erected at various points to attract people into the glens area around Manorhamilton, where there’s a range of attractions.

Many of these are within a half hour’s drive of Manorhamilon, such as at Kiltyclogher, Glenfarne, Glencar, Lough Gill and others.

There’s also expected to be a major increase in the number of bed nights available in Manorhamilton in the coming months, which will be a further boost for the area.

Manorhamilton Independent Councillor Felim Gurn has been telling Ocean FM News how their new effort to promote the Five Glens Wild Atlantic Loop will work:
