Irish Water hopes to avoid further restrictions



The head of Irish Water says they’re doing everything they can to avoid bringing in any further water restrictions.

Over 25 schemes across the country are already on restrictions including the Pettigo and Ardnaglass schemes in Donegal.

However, while water supplies in parts of Sligo and Leitrim are also being monitoring no restrictions have had to be put in place yet.

Irish Water says the hosepipe ban remains in place until the 31st of July right around the country.
