Donegal County County has found money to upgrade the public toilets in Ballyshannon.
However, the Council has yet to commit to a timeframe of when the work will be carried out.
It follows ongoing complaints for many years that the current toilets are in a very poor state leading to the local Ballyshannon Regeneration group submitting a proposal to the Council to upgrade them.
Fine Gael Councillor Barry O’Neill says the Council has now found a funding source and he hopes the work can be carried out without delay:
