Gardai are warning motorists to expect delays if they’re going through Carrick on Shannon tomorrow (Saturday).
It’s because of a number of events taking place in the town, all of which will attract large attendances.
They include the Connacht Community Games finals, which will be attended by about 3,000 people, including competitors, parents and supporters.
The Carrick Water Music Festival will also be taking place.
At 4 o’clock, the All-Ireland under 20 football semi-final between Mayo and Derry will take place in Pairc Sean MacDiarmada.
