Participants of all fitness levels are welcome, as participants can either run, jog or walk their 2 x 1-hour legs of the 24-hour event, which will be based in Mitchell Curley Park.

The event will start at 7pm on Friday, September 15, will continue through the night and will finish at 7pm on Saturday, September 15.

Niall Murray, St. Mary’s Bord na nÓg chairperson commented: “This is a great opportunity for all members of our community, both young and old, to participate in a fun team-based activity. The event has two main aims, one being to promote health and wellbeing in our community and also to act as a fundraiser for our underage teams.”

St. Mary’s GAA Club will be launching the event on Friday, July 20, at 9pm in the Clubhouse at Kent Park in Ballydoogan and all members of the community are invited, especially those who are not involved in the club but have an interest in fitness or improving their health.

There will be some special guests attending on the night to give some advice and tips on the benefits of exercise and suggested training plans.
