A Leitrim councillor says more people have to start using Eircodes to help the emergency services.
Fine Gael Councillor Sean McDermott is calling for a national campaign on this issue.
A number of cases have been highlighted recently, including one where an ambulance on its way to a callout in Ballinamore in County Leitrim got lost.
Councillor McDermott says there are enough pressures on the service and using Eircodes would at least help emergency personelle:
