Moorhouse departs Sligo Rovers

Greg Moorhouse has left Sligo Rovers by mutual agreement.

The striker started Saturday night’s defeat to Waterford, but that proved to be his last game in the Bit O’ Red colours.

Rovers boss Gerard Lyttle said: “We wish Greg well at his next club, he always gave 100 per cent during his time here.

“Looking forward, Mikey Drennan comes into contention this week and more will follow. We want to freshen up the squad and we’re making good progress and hopefully there’ll be news on it soon.”

Goalkeeper Michael Schlingermann and midfielder Eduardo Pinceli have also left the club in recent weeks, while loan deals for Calum Waters and Ally Roy have expired and they have returned to their parent clubs.
