People will find out which candidates will go forward to run for Fine Gael in the Sligo Leitrim constituency next month.
The contest has just lost one of its most high profile potential candidates outgoing TD Tony McLoughlin who announced his retirement from politics yesterday.
The convention takes place on the 19th of July in the Clayton Hotel in Sligo when delegates will have the chance to vote.
