It’s being claimed that tourism in the Northwest will suffer this summer because of the World Cup.
The North West Public Participation Network, which represents thousands of community groups, say they have received worrying figures and trends for the early tourism season.
They say that the World Cup is negatively impacting on the motivation of tourists to come here.
