Agriculture Minister says ‘No Hard Border’ fundamental requirement in Brexit negogiations



No Hard Border is ‘the’ fundamental requirement for Ireland as part of the Brexit negotiations.

That’s according to the Agriculture Minister Michael Creed who was in Sligo last night.

Yesterday the British Government published a document agreeing the so called “backstop” designed to prevent the return of a hard border should end by December 2021.

Minister Creed told Ocean FM that while he has not studied the document in detail, the Irish government’s position on preventing a hard border indefinitely remains:
