Vibrant Sligo music scene evident at this weekend’s County Fleadh



The interest among young people in traditional music is still alive and growing.

That’s according to the Chairperson of the Committee organising the Sligo County Fleadh which is underway this weekend.

Martin Enright says the competitions and music have brought a great buzz to the town.

The winners then go through to the Connaught Fleadh which is taking place in Ballinamore in county Leitrim in June.
