HSE must ensure free hospital parking for people with long-term needs



A Sligo Councillor says the money is there to introduce free parking at Sligo University Hospital.

The HSE has confirmed to Councillor Keith Henry this month that the private company operating the paid-parking system at SUH made nearly €200,000 in 2015 alone.

But he says it’s still unclear as to how many free passes were issued to families who have long-term hospital needs.
