Four motorists caught speeding in the North West on National Slow Down Day

Four motorists were caught speeding over National Slow Down Day in the North West.

It took place over 24 hours from 7am Friday morning until 7am Saturday morning.

One motorist was recorded at travelling at a speed of 119km/h in a 100km/h Zone on the N4 near Ballisodare.

Looking to the June Bank Holiday weekend, Derek Cloughley from the Garda’s Road Policing Bureau says it’s not just a one-day concern.
