Sligo-Leitrim double champions Carbury suffered Connacht Junior Cup final heartbreak at the Showgrounds yesterday.
They lost out in a dramatic penalty shootout to Galway side Mervue United after the game finished 1-1 after normal time and extra-time.
It took 14 penalties to separate the sides before Mervue claimed the trophy.
Meanwhile, Merville United beat Chaffpool United 3-1 to claim the Frank Kennedy Memorial Cup.
