Sligo Rovers’ EA Sports Cup semi-final against Derry City will take place on the August bank holiday.
The game will have a start time of five o’clock on Monday, August 6, with a place in this year’s League Cup final awaiting the winners.
Holders Dundalk will travel to St Colman’s Park to face First Division side Cobh Ramblers in the other semi-final at the same time.
The Bit O’ Red have so far knocked out Galway United and Waterford in the competition, while Derry have beaten two First Division clubs so far in Finn Harps and Shelbourne.
Rovers last won the cup in 2010, with Derry winning it the following season.
Rovers face Limerick in a crunch League of Ireland Premier Division game at the Showgrounds tomorrow evening.
Kick-off at the Showgrounds is at 7.45pm.
