Sligo County Council have said it’s an urban myth that there isn’t enough parking spaces in the town.
There are almost 4000 parking spaces within a 750 metre radius in the town centre.
That’s more spaces than towns with a similar sized population like Tralee, Wexford, Portlaoise and Letterkenny.
