An ongoing feud between the Ward and McGinley traveller families is preventing a possible solution to the problem of the McGinley family vacating the Connaughton Road car park, where they have lived in caravans for the past 30 years. The McGinleys say will not move to nearby Glenview Halting Site, as being proposed by Sligo County Council, because the Ward family already live there. Members of the Sligo Traveller Support Group have resigned from the Traveller Accommodation Committee in protest at the plan, as Manager Bernadette Maughan explains
