Vintners positive about future but say new drink-driving laws won’t help



The Vintners’ Federation of Ireland says the Transport Minister’s Road Traffic Bill won’t do anything to save lives.

The Bill would lower the alcohol limit and put people off the road for their first drink driving offence.

The organisation which represents publicans is holding its AGM in Letterkenny today.
