A member of the Save the 8th campaign in Co Leitrim has said that a local Cllrs comments are damaging.
Speaking to Ocean FM yesterday, Indepdent Cllr Des Guckian defended claims that the abolition of the Eighth Amendment will lead to sex slavery becoming “normalised”.
He also said repeal of the Eighth would lead to girls being forced to have sex “on demand” and added that euthanasia would follow if the Eighth Amendment is repealed.
But Fintan Cox, who is a pharmacist in Carrick-in-Shannon, who is campaigning to ‘Save the 8th’, says Cllr Guckians comments are actually damaging….
