The number of people on the Live Register in Sligo and Letrim has fallen by almost 40% since 2011.
Latest figures from the Central Statistics Office showed a total of 5,467 people on the register in Sligo and Leitrim last month.
In 2011, just over 9,000 people were unemployed in the two counties.
Speaking in Dail, Taoiseach Leo Varadaker said while unemployment in the region is falling, more needs to be done to create jobs…..
