Former Leitrim player to start for New York on Sunday

New York have named their team for Sunday’s Connacht Championship tie against Leitrim.

Longford native Enda Williams is set to come up against some of his former team-mates as the one-time Leitrim player has been named at wing-back.

Sligo natives Vinnie Cadden and Colin Keane are named in goal and at corner-back respectively.

Armagh’s Jamie Clarke is named at centre-forward, while Mayo natives Tom Cunniffe and Matthew Queenan are named alongside Williams in the half-back line.

Roscommon’s Neil Collins and Donal Ward are in the full-back line.

Kerry’s David Culhane partners American Shane Hogan in midfield, with Armagh’s Tony Donnelly, Wexford’s Kevin O’Grady, Dalton McDonagh from Meath and Monaghan’s David Freeman also among the forwards.
