Corey expecting ‘professional’ approach from London

Sligo boss Cathal Corey says he believes London will bring a very professional approach to their Connacht Championship tie against Sligo on Sunday, and has warned his side that they need to match it.

London have yet to name their team but could have up to four Sligo natives featuring, with Geevagh’s Shane McManus, Castleconnor’s David Carrabine, Calry’s Cormac Coyne and Tubbercurry’s Daniel McDonagh all in the mix.

Corey is expecting a full-blooded championship tie…

Sunday’s game is live on Ocean FM from throw-in at 3.30pm, with thanks to EJ Menswear.

Meanwhile, the Sligo Masters will also face their counterparts at the weekend, in the first round of this year’s All-Ireland championship.

Former Sligo footballer and current masters player Con O’Meara is hoping Sligo fans in England will also take in Saturday’s game…
