The mother of a young Co Sligo man still recovering from a bike accident, in which he had to have his leg amputated, says she is grateful he is alive.
29-year-old Jonathan Higgins from Easkey suffered life threatening injuries in a motorbike accident in Dubai in December.
He is currently still recovering in hospital in the United Arab Emirates.
His mother Daphne has now launched a GoFundMe page to raise money to bring her son home for further rehabilitation and the fitting of a prosthetic leg….
