The FAI have confirmed that Sligo Rovers’ EA Sports Cup quarter-final against Waterford will be decided on the night.
The game, which takes place at the Showgrounds on Tuesday week, May 8, at 7.45pm, will go to extra-time, and then a penalty shootout if they game remains level.
Waterford knocked out Cork City in a penalty shootout on Monday to book their place in the last eight against a Rovers side that knocked out Galway United in their previous match.
Rovers and Waterford also clash this weekend, with their league game at the RSC taking place on Friday.
Robert Harvey has been appointed as the man in the middle for that game.
Elsewhere in the EA Sports Cup quarter-finals, First Division sides Cobh Ramblers and Longford Town clash in Cork and Dundalk host Bohemians.
Both those games are also on the Tuesday, with the tie between Derry City and Shelbourne taking place at 5pm on the May bank holiday Monday.
