Donegal gaeilscoil hoping to make progress in effort to get new building



A Donegal gaeilscoil that’s operating out of prefabs for almost 20 years is hoping that in the coming weeks it will reach the next stage in its long effort to get a new building.

Gaeilscoil na gCeithre Maistri, based on the Old Laghey Road in Donegal Town, has no permanent school building of its own, including no hall for school activities, such as PE, music or drama.

It’s now at Stage Two of a five-stage process that it must go through in preparation for the construction of a new school.

But, as principal Roisin Ni Chumhaill tells Ocean FM News, they are hoping to soon move to the next stage:
