The new head of Sinn Fein says there are a huge number of issues that she had to deal with as soon as she took over from party leader for more than 30 years Gerry Adams.
She was in Sligo yesterday to attend the Martin Savage ceremony in Ballisodare which was presided over by President Michael D. Higgins.
