Traffic flow forms part of discussion on regeneration of Killybegs town centre



Traffic flow is forming part of a key discussion on the regeneration of Killybegs town centre.

The harbour town is well known for its large fishing industry and port but businesses and residents feel the town centre has suffered over recent years.

A public meeting was organised in the town by Independent Councillor Niamh Kennedy last night.

The focus of this meeting was on the one way system in place in the town and whether that is having an impact on businesses some of which have closed on the Main Street in recent years.

She says the meeting also heard strong calls for Bridge street to be made into a one-way street:
