Gardai are investigating a workplace accident in Co Sligo yesterday in which a man died while cutting down a tree.
The accident occurred at Drumbaun, Curry at about 11.30am yesterday morning.
A man in his 30’s was fatally injured, and his body was removed to Sligo University Hospital for post-mortem examination.
The Health & Safety Authority has confirmed that they have been notified, and are investigating the circumstances of the fatal accident.
