Sligo Rovers have been given a home tie for the quarter-finals of this year’s EA Sports Cup.
The Bit O’ Red will host either reigning Premier Division champions Cork City or high-flying Waterford in the last eight of the competition next month.
Rovers have lost to both of these teams at home in the league already this season, and last won this competition back in 2009.
They have reached the quarter-finals thanks to their narrow 1-0 defeat of First Division side Galway United at Eamonn Deacy Park last week.
