Breastcheck, the mobile breast screening unit, have now announced that they will establish a facility in Collooney to service women in the Sligo Town area. It follows the transfer of the service from Sligo Town to Tubbercurry. Members of Sligo County Council have passed a motion calling on the Minister for Health to intervene, and Cllr Declan Bree says the Collooney option is not acceptable
