People in the North West waiting up to 12 weeks before sitting driving test



People in the North West have to wait on average almost 12 weeks before they can sit their driving test according to the latest RSA figures.

Only Sligo is below the National average of 10 weeks with a waiting time of 9.3 weeks.

Donegal Town test centre however shows an average wait time of 15.6 with one person having to wait 21 weeks.

While Carrick on Shannon test centre has an average of an 11 week wait and the longest someone was delayed is 22 weeks.

The worst affected centre in the country is Buncranna Test Centre with the average wait time being 19 weeks.
