Sligo head to Malahide with promotion in mind

Sligo can give their hopes of promotion from Division 2C of the All-Ireland League a huge boost with a win against fourth-placed Malahide in Dublin tomorrow.

The Yeats men currently sit second in the table, just one point behind leaders Thomond, whom they host on the last game of the season.

Malahide, who boast former Irish international prop Mike Ross among their squad, are just a point off Sligo and Omagh, and a win tomorrow would bring them right back into the title race.

Kick-off tomorrow is at 2.30pm.

Meanwhile, Sligo’s U13, U15 and U17 sides are also in action in cup competitions this coming Sunday.
