Dozens of members of the Parkinson’s Associations Northwest Branch to protest outside Leinster House



Dozens of members of the Parkinson’s Associations Northwest Branch will protest outside Leinster House tomorrow over a lack of services.

Currently there is no Parkinsons Nurse specialist in Donegal, Sligo or Leitrim.

But a specilaist does travell from Galway to Killybegs once a month, but that is funded by the Parkinsons Association and not the government.

Ronnie Gillanders from Balliosadare has Parkinsons disease, and he says the travelling can be debilitating for parkinson’s sufferers…..
