Female leaders of the world invited to Lissadell House in December



The owners of Lissadell House, Eddie Walsh and Constance Cassidy, have written to An Taoiseach to request him to invite the 18 female Heads of State in the world to Ireland, and to Lissadell, in December. As a way of marking the 100th anniversary of the election of the first ever female MP to the House of Commons, Countess Markievicz. The new tourism season at Lissadell commences tomorrow, and a new Countess exhibition has been organised
