A Leitrim councillor says he is ‘very disappointed’ that there are no plans to replace recently retired outdoor staff.
It comes after two outdoor workers recently retired from the council’s housing section.
In response to a query from Sinn Fein Councillor Padraig Fallon, the council says there is no intention to reduce the workforce.
Cllr Fallon said there was nothing about recruiting additional staff.
He added that there is now a concern across all sections in the council in which outdoor staff work.
