Intermediate
Our intermediate team got their new season off to a positive start with a 5-17 to 0-8 win over St Farnan’s at Quigabar last Saturday evening in the Benson Cup. They commence their Division Two campaign next Friday evening at 6pm when they play Easkey in Easkey. Please support.
Minor
The Enniscrone-Kilglass/Easkey minor team suffered a disappointing 3-14 to 0-6 defeat to Ballymote/Bunninadden on Sunday. They are scheduled to play St Molaise Gaels in Grange on Thursday evening at 6pm in the next round.
U-16
The Enniscrone-Kilglass/Easkey U-16 team were beaten 5-5 to 3-7 by St Farnan’s/St Pats last Saturday morning. They play Shamrock Gaels on Tuesday evening in Coola.
U-12
Our U-12s put in an excellent effort to reach the final of the county Pella (indoor) competiton in Sligo last Friday. They got the better of south division winners Tubbercurry Cloonacool in their semi-final, before losing out by a single point to St Mary’s in the final. Despite the loss it was a very useful workout and bodes well for the year ahead.
U-10
Well done to our U-10 boys who played in the half-time games at Markievicz Park last Sunday during the meeting of Sligo and Derry. Future stars who will no doubt wear the black and white in the years ahead!
