Easkey Post Office in Co Sligo has been saved from closure.
The postmaster at the West Sligo post office had retired and it was set to close as there was no-one to take it over.
But An Post have confirmed to Ocean FM News this afternoon that the Bonniconlon Postmaster is now to take over postal services in the village on a yearly basis.
